I became a birth doula in 2007 after having three very different birth experiences myself. After several years of work as a birth doula, I felt a strong pull to become a midwife. In 2015, I graduated with my Bachelors in Midwifery from the accredited Midwives College of Utah (MCU) and completed my clinical training in Moscow, ID and Spokane, WA. I am a Certified Professional Midwife and licensed in both Idaho and Washington. I serve the Moscow, Pullman and surrounding areas. I have been an instructor at Washington State University in the Department of Human Development since 2008. I developed the Midwife Assistant Training as part of an Advanced Midwifery Studies course at MCU. I hope to develop a certification process for midwife assistants through Midwives College of Utah. I have been thrilled to blend my passion for teaching and birth work.
